Volunteer Support Program "Ama Green Harmony"

We have participated in the Volunteer Support Program, a cooperative activity promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism from July 2021. Under the Volunteer Support Program, local communities, companies, and other organizations clean up and beautify roads and sidewalks managed by the Ministry.

We have named our organization involved in this program "Ama Green Harmony" in the hope of promoting the creation of a comfortable town in harmony with greenery, starting from the Ama area (Ama City and Ama County) of Aichi Prefecture, where our Headquaters and Shippo Factory are located.

Signed a disaster management agreement with Ama-Tobu Fire Department

We signed an "Agreement on Provision of Owned Land, etc. in the Event of a Large-Scale Disaster" with Ama-Tobu Fire Department in In March 2021. Under this agreement, our employee parking lots will be provided as a base of operations for receiving emergency firefighting support teams from other prefectures and municipalities in the event of a large-scale disaster such as an earthquake, windstorm, or flood. We will actively cooperate as part of our contribution to the local community in preparation for natural disasters, which in recent years have become increasingly devastating.

Accepting students through internship programs

We offer internships for university students from Japan and abroad, providing them with opportunities for work experience. Many internships are accepted every year. We have prepared a curriculum that allows students to learn about the challenges and joys of the transportation infrastructure equipment industry, which is indispensable for daily life, and the cutting-edge electronic component and device manufacturing industry.

Interaction with local communities

We offer factory tours for local elementary school students and work experience programs for junior high school students. We offer a variety of curricula so that students can experience the fun of manufacturing and the importance of work in an enjoyable way.

Thanksgiving Festival "Shachi-sai" to commemorate the founding of the company

We hold a Thanksgiving Festival "Shachi-sai" at our Headquarters as a commemorative event for our founding.

2015 marked the 70th anniversary of the company's founding, and the theme of the festival was "Thank you, and to the future" to the community, local elementary and junior high school students, our partners (Shachi-no-Kai), and employees. In the first part of the event, we held a factory tour, which included an exhibition of a Mobile VMS and a ladder truck, as well as other events that participants could experience, to the delight of many people. In the second part, a stage event and a bake sale were held in the west parking lot with a lot of fun.

*We had planned to hold a Thanksgiving Festival in 2020 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of our founding, but we had to cancel it in light of the spread of COVID-19. We are preparing to resume the event based on the future situation.
